We try to make as much as possible here at woods cafe allowing us to make the most of Cornwalls fantastic local produce.
We bake our scones and cake fresh every morning, our favourites are gooey chocolate cake, tangy lemon drizzle, a blooming lovely carrot cake, white chocolate and raspberry muffins and squidgy brownie. We always have gluten free options and try to cater for most dietry requirements.
We have a selection of seasonal specials, in the winter these may include chicken and leek stew, butternut squash and chickpea tagine, or beef stew and dumplings. In the summer we have home-made quiches, savory cream teas with cheese scones, sumptuous salads and sausage rolls. Prices range from £6 to £8. We don't have a card machine so please bring some cash!
We serve delicious Hands On coffee, local Cornish Orchards apple juice and our scrumptious sausages are made just up the road by Dave using his lovely pigs. As a fully licensed Cafe, we sell a selection of Cornish ales and ciders, as well as wine.
We do have a kids menu but if they are teeny tiny you are more than welcome to breast feed.
